How to get an administrative assistant job?

ok. im a business administrative student. I've taken all the important classes. i just need a few englishes classes to get my associates. I've applied to like every ad *** job on craigslist in Chicago and not many ppl respond. why wont they respond. do they seriously only wont ppl with experience. because eventually everyone with experience is going to die and noone with degrees will have experience .. that's the way i see things. idk. how can i get my feet wet. ?? Idk what to do. ive applied to like 100 places by now.
