Dwarf yaupons are really excellent plants that are fairly hardy. Japanese boxwoods are another shrub/bush that have done very well without any real effort on our part. We similarly bought a house that had been on the market for a while, and all the plants had died except for these, which still looked just fine. They are thriving now with regular watering.

Did I buy the wrong pepper plant; I wanted jalapenos, but they're really light green?

I bought a 4 pack of what was labeled jalapenos (over a month ago). I am not an experienced gardner, and I have never grown jalapenos. They are all blooming and growing like crazy, but they are very, very light green. Some are even yellowish. I have yet to pick one because I am wondering if they will darken, but so far they have not. Most of the peppers are still small, about 2 inches, but one of them is about 4-5 inches...and what's weird is it is the one lightest in color. Any MOS can go to Airborne school. Also, the tab represents the unit, not that you're airborne qualified. The jump wings tell you if someone is airborne qualified or not. You just have to volunteer for airborne. Now with Ranger school, I believe it's possible for an Admin MOS to get in, it just depends on slots available and if your unit cares enough to send you there. Not sure how it works in the Guard, but you should have a schools NCO, or at least ask your chain of command, the worst they can say is no.

How much time does a person have with stage 4 esophagus cancer?

My dad has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the esophagus, it has spread to his upper back, in his right lung and his lymph nodes.. The doctor says it is terminal, but they have given him chemo and radiation to help shrink the tumors (the tumor in his esophagus has completely blocked his esophagus and he now has a feeding tube).. He really hasn't told me how much time the doctor has given him, and I would like to know.. I am enjoying every minute I have with him just as if it was the last day.. What do you think??

There's a girl at my school (I'm a freshman in high school), and ever since 6th grade, this girl has had a problem with me. Fleas in my bed I need to rid of them!?

So my cat regularly gets treated for fleas but she still has them. I didn't realise she was spreading fleas around my room until it was too late. When i sit at my laptop they jump at the screen. Here is my story and bear with me. it is somewhat long. I have had ankle problems for almost 17 years now. Two failed surgeries, 8 cortisone shots, 5 rounds of physical therapy, 6 months of minimal weight bearing, 4 pair of orthodics, many NSAID prescriptions later and I am still having a lot of trouble. Things were going well until 4 months after my second surgery. My ankle pain returned with a vengeance. This was in early May, 2011. My second surgery was done in January. I have been referred to a pain clinic, but cannot get an appointment for another month. My general doctor is also on maternity leave for another 6 months. I have had multiple pain medication prescriptions filled, but they were only filled by one doctor. I also only take these medications if I must, like at night when I am in immense pain. Today, I scheduled an appointment with a physicians assistant. She was the only one available for a few days. She did not even look at my chart and accused me of being a drug addict when I am by no means an addict. She was very rude and was making me out to be the problem when all I came in for was legitimate moderate to severe left ankle pain. She dismissed me off as a "pill seeker." I thought to be an addict you need to have physical and mental addiction to these medications. I do not at all. I am a legitimate, hard working mother who unfortunately has to wait until July to see a pain specialist, and then this fall, I need to have an OATS procedure done. Between now and that point, I am unsure. All I want to know is, what can be done besides calling the administrative office at the clinic? Would I have a legal case due to her malpractice? How can I get my lazy irresponsible teen to come home at night?

He is 18 & works part time. He spends his money on tatoos, cigarettes, junk food, etc. He does pay for gas in his car.We gave him a good used car when he got his license & when he turned 18, due to a speeding ticket, we put him on his own insurance policy. Problem getting my deposit back?

Hi!! I recently vacated a property and am having trouble getting my deposit back (�890). Stage 4 breast cancer. Is there hope?

A close friend of mine has stage 4 breast cancer. 3 months ago, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer but since then it has spread to her liver and it's now considered stage 4. It doesn't do well in the summer either. But don't discard it or the chives ,when the weather cools down they'll start growing again (perennials). I suggest you get another parsley. My friends mom has stage 4 colon cancer, anything I can do?

How can I get my lazy irresponsible teen to come home at night?

He is 18 & works part time. He spends his money on tatoos, cigarettes, junk food, etc. He does pay for gas in his car.We gave him a good used car when he got his license & when he turned 18, due to a speeding ticket, we put him on his own insurance policy. We've been telling his he has to pay for his insurance, he has the money for it, but he can't seem to get around to paying it.This is probably because he figures we'll pay it out of necessity.Every night he goes out and says he'll be back by midnight, 2 a.m., or whatever time we agree on. Instead, the night gets later & he does not show up. We try to call & text & can almost never reach him. Some mornings he's come home around 3:30 a.m. and other times we can't reach him until noon the day after.He says he is spending the night with a friend whom I've just met (finally) and is 16, a minor, stating they play video games all night.I've begged him to have this kid overnight at our house sometime.Finally,last night he did.They said they'd be here for dinner but I didn't hear from him. Around 10 p.m. I reached him & he said he & 2 friends would be here by midnight. 1:15 a.m. they weren't here. I called him,reached him,he said he'd be here in about 15 minutes. 2:00 a.m. I called again & he said he was almost home,with the 2 friends,both minors.They came in,smelling strongly of cigarette smoke.My son is an adult by law & my husband/his father, is in law enforcement & has explained the ramifications of contributing to the delinquency of minors.Also,my husband & I are having marital problems & are trying to mend the relationship.This added stress about whether or not our son is coming home or has been involved in an accident or has gotten in trouble, etc. is adding to our stress tenfold. He's our only child & we feel it is inconsiderate of him to be unreachable most of the time & we worry about his safety.We are afraid to take his cell phone as discipline,because if he needs it for an emergency we want him to have it.He works 2 to 3 nights a week waiting tables at a nearby restaraunt. How can I get him to come home on weeknights so that my very stressed & depressed husband and I can get some relief? We're worn out everyday from waking up through the night & finding our son's bedroom empty & being unable to reach him. My husband has a heart condition & this stress is really a problem. I have been diagnosed with major depression & have been medicated for many years. Most of the time the depression is under control. We have too much going on to have these added worries. We didn't raise him to be so inconsiderate. We don't want to "put him out" because (1) he can't afford it (2)he is irresponsible (3)we don't want to sabotage his future. He graduated from high school this month & is enrolled to attend Community College in the fall. We wonder now if he'll even make an effort. If we tell him he has to help pay for it, he will just quit. He is intelligent but very lazy. His chores at home are to clean a cat box occasionally, & will only do it if nagged for days. He is supposed to keep his bathroom clean but it is so disgusting I can't go in there. His room looks like a health & fire hazard. Wireless connection connected but says "Acquiring network address".?

I have a Dell Dimension 4700c computer with Windows XP Home Edition (with all microsoft updates downloaded and installed), and use a Netgear WG111v3 Wireless-G USB Adapter, and it works just fine. It connects to the internet, but even though it's connected (I'm able to use Facebook on Google Chrome), the wireless connection icon on the taskbar keeps indicating that it's "Acquiring network address". And I can use the internet, but still says "Acquiring network address". At least the internet is working fine, so I know it doesn't matter. But still I wanna fix the glitch anyway. And I wanna know how. I tried to check for updates on the adapter using Device Manager, but it turns out that it's up to date. And I went on Microsoft Update, but the computer's up to date. I even tired to end the explorer.exe process and restart the explorer.exe process to see if the wireless connection icon would refresh and display the "Connected" icon instead of the "connecting" icon, but didn't help either. And doing the "repair" thing didn't work either, cuz when it got to the "Connecting to the wireless network" part, it just kept constantly saying "Renewing the IP address" for over an hour, and I opened Google Chrome to see if it's connected, and I was still able to use Facebook, but it still says "Renewing the IP address", and I clicked "Cancel", and refreshed Facebook, and the internet still works, but the "Connecting" icon is still on the taskbar. And I enabled all the services that's for internet, and I even enabled NetBIOS from the TCP/IP properties, but I didn't see "NetBIOS over TCP/IP" service showing in the Services in Administrative tools, but enabled it from the TCP/IP properties anyway, but it didn't fix the problem either. I tried all I could, and I just need help.
