If the Yankees keep Derek Jeter in the leadoff spot will he set the MLB Record for most groundouts in a season?
You might be right, but I would hold off on Jeter's demise right now. He had started to hit the ball much better, but all the off-days and rain outs the Yankees have had doesn't help him. He'll have a multi-hit game, then the Yankees don't play for a day or two, and that doesn't help. Jeter isn't what he was, but I think he is still going to have a decent season, once the Yankee start playing every day again and in weather above 45 degrees, he should go on a little bit of a hot streak.
