Sleep walking in the military?

I have been found to sleepwalk in the military, the doc told me it was going to med board for a decision weather or not to discharge me. She said it could be medical or administrative. What would make it one or the other? I know admin is much faster but what would make them do this instead of medical. I have been in for just under 2 years. Also how long will it take to find something out. Please only answer if you or someone you know went through this exact thing.
